Using layers in Photoshop

I happened to come across one of my old work pieces back when i discovered rendering images using layers in photoshop.
This was a piece originally experienting with creating space, lighting, dust and fog effects but never got completed.
The image itself comprises of over 35 layers and was ment to be finished as just a abstract that would be tailored for wallpaper. Evidentally i never got around to finishing it but I think it shows a fine example of what people can achieve with alot of layer splashing.
